On Sunday, September 22 at 2 p.m., Union Presbyterian Church is sponsoring a tour of their historic Riverside Cemetery. Established in 1791, it is the burial place of early settlers including John and Joshua Mersereau who fought with George Washington during the Revolutionary War.
Located at 400 Vestal Avenue, Endicott, the cemetery was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004. Local historian, Tim Main, will lead the tour. This is a public event and the church will serve refreshments afterwards. Rain date will be September 29.
