Artist Makes Felted Portraits of Cats

These are incredible!

Japanese artist, Wakuneco, takes wool and makes the most insane, realistic portraits of cats. She basically takes different color wool and makes these 3D portraits using different needle techniques. It takes her about a month to create one.

We all know that pets are like family. And for anyone that has had a pet, we  know that losing one can be incredibly painful. But Wakuneco helps cat-owners cope with that loss by creating realistic, three-dimensional felt portraits of their adorable kitty to keep. She uses pictures of real cats to create portraits as realistic as possible, and some of them are a mirror image!
