Today is “A Day of Hope” at SUNNY 99.1. All day, the iHeartRadio station is saluting the work of Star of Hope as it reaches out to Houston’s homeless. Enjoy great music and hear messages of Hope. Donate to help provide men, women, and children a hot meal and a home of their own. Homelessness is not seasonal. The need is just as great today as it is during the holidays when everyone might be more inclined to think of the homeless. the summer is when Star of Hope needs the most support. Star of Hope is a Christ-centered family of ministries that has been in Houston for 113 years and offers immediate overnight crisis care, but would love to have a homeless person stay for up to a year to learn skills, get a job, and further their education.
