"Music's biggest night" is what CBS calls Sunday. It's when the network airs the 60th Grammys from Madison Square Garden in New York.
Lots of your favorite performers will be on stage
It's a classy night, so Bruno Mars of course will be decked out performing. After all, isn't he the coolest cat in music today?
Maybe you're saying "but Kendrick Lamar is up for more Grammys (7) than Bruno (6)". True. And Kendrick will perform, as will SZA (seen with Lamar above) who is the female singer with the most nominations (5). SZA (pronounced "sizza") will sing on stage with Sting during the broadcast.
P!nk will kick off her big week when she performs this Sunday, one week before she sings the anthem at "The Big Game" on Feb. 4. Lady Gaga did the halftime show at the Bowl last year, and she will be on stage Sunday at the Grammys.
For country fans, Chris Stapleton will bring his beard to the Garden to sing on CBS.
Other performers include Rihanna, Sam Smith, U2, Alessia Cara, Miley Cyrus and Elton John. The original "Rocket Man" announced this week that his upcoming world tour will be his last. But it will be a long farewell as he does about 300 shows in the next three years.
As for who to look for as Grammy presenters on Sunday:
Tony Bennett will be in the house (or on this night, "the Garden")! The crooner has won 18 Grammys in his 91-years on the planet, so who knows more about winning a trophy than this soft spoken superstar? Mr. Bennett (doesn't he deserve respect?) made a grand return to relevance a few years ago thanks to his pal Lady Gaga (above), when they put out a top selling duets album.
Here's a wild card as a presenter on stage at MSG Sunday: Dave Chappelle. He's nominated for his first Grammy for Best Comedy Album for his Netflix specials "Heart of Texas" and "The Age of Spin". He's up for the Grammy against Jim Gaffigan and Sarah Silverman, who will also be presenters. Kevin Hart or Jerry Seinfeld could steal that trophy away from the three of them.
Also presenting:
Kelly Clarkson, who is up for a Grammy for Best Pop Solo Performance for her 2017 hit "Love So Soft.
She's joined by singer Anna Kendrick (from the "Pitch Perfect" movie franchise), along with fellow actresses Katie Holmes and Hailee Steinfeld. And singer Alicia Keys will also be handing out a trophy.
